Funny Story

Apparently sleep has been interesting in our house this week...On Tuesday night, Michael said that he got home from his night job at 10:30. I had probably been asleep for an hour or so by then and when he walked into the room I turned my head and asked "Is it time to get up already?" in the most pitiful voice ever...when he said no, it's 10:30 I said "Oh, ok" rolled over and went back to sleep. He told his co-workers about it and they got a good laugh out of it.

Last night it was Michael's turn...I was still up, watching my DVR recorded So You Think You Can Dance when he got home (DID YOU SEE MELANIE AND MARKO???) if not, here it is courtesy of YouTube go watch now!

Anyway so after the show was over and we were done talking about the softball games and what not, we went to sleep. At some point in the middle of the night I woke up to Michael's hand crashing down on my eye! It felt like Parker hitting me in the eye with one of his board books (in fact for some reason I thought it was Parker hitting me with Brown Bear Brown Bear...I was so not awake) Anyway Michael immediately wakes up and is saying sorry and trying to make me feel better...I really just yelled "OWW" and rolled over to go back to sleep ha-ha. This morning Michael apologized again and told me he'd dreamt I was falling off of the bed and he was trying to catch me! HA! in the process his finger nail scratched my left eye lid so I'll be calling the po-po for spouse abuse lol j/k. I hope you all have been sleeping well! Updates and General Randomness

I've been offline for a while. It's not that I didn't think about writing a post here and there because I did, it's just that whenever I get home and get everything I do done, I just want to hit the hay. You know? So here is a little catch up post with pictures from the last few months. A ton of pictures actually so if you're not interested in looking at the cutest kid ever, don't scroll down.

Here are pictures from our first zoo trip of the year back in April. Parker had a great time and it was so fun listening to him point out the animals he knew.

I can't believe that my baby will be 2 in a couple of months...I'm freaking out a little bit. I've got his party planned in my mind but we'll see how it turns out. I'll more details on that later.

Can't wait to post about Father's day on Sunday. Parker has a big surprise for his daddy so I'll be sure to take pictures of the gift opening.
