Sorry this is late, I couldn't get my Internet working yesterday! So my awesome hubby figured out that I had accidentally turned my wireless off ::duh::
Happy Friday everyone! This week went by pretty quickly for me, probably because I was out Tuesday so Parker and I could catch up on some much needed Zs. Our coughs are still going strong and we’re still feeling yucko so I am taking Parker to see the doctor this afternoon…I’ll figure out something for myself for the time being.
I have big plans for the weekend and I am probably going to have to kick Michael out of the house to get anything done. Cleaning the house is not easily done when your man is sitting in his recliner watching TV. SO! I am going to send him away to go fishing, turn on some music and get the house clean. After that I am planning to go out and clean up my flower beds…most of my plants are surviving the 100 plus degree weather but some of them are in flower heaven. Oh and wouldn’t you know it, the weeds are thriving! Maybe I will get a cheapo baby pool for Parker to splash in on the porch while I am in the flower beds. That boy loves to play in the water.

Seriously Y’all, Michael says I dress like an old lady. I really have no idea how to shop or what to buy to hide my problem areas. I would love any advice on places to shop and what the fashion for a 23 year old momma is. You can see how I look ::Yikes:: on my McFatty Monday Page. I am working on getting my size 16 self down to a size 8 but as of right now, I have no clothes that fit me and I tend to wear my maternity shorts and capris and a big t-shirt on the weekends. Y’all, I am so bad, I use an elastic hair band through my button hole and around the button on my work pants to make them fit and then cover it up with a belt. My major fashion fail was when I bought some control top drawers…you know the ones, they are supposed to suck in and hold all of that flab in and make you look like you lost 50 pounds. Well I got the kind that go just past your belly button (the nude pair below) when I should have gotten the ones that go all the way to my boobs (the black pair below). So I am wearing them right now and I am sporting a double muffin top…one roll over the top of the “Spanx” and the other normal roll over my too small work pants…Gotta love it.
So ladies, please, please educate me in the art of trendy (affordable) mom fashion! I will be eternally grateful and so will everyone I work with ha-ha.
Alright well, it is lunch time and I need to go eat my sandwich and catch up on my reading before I leave for Parker’s doctor appointment. Have a wonderful weekend!
